Maekju, the weight that I used are standard stick-on lead wheel weights that I use to balance tires in my shop. Since the space in the counterbalance was so narrow, I took a a single edge razor blade and split them in half and stacked them to get the required 1/2 ounce. Before placing them in location, I did remove the double sided tape on the weights and epoxied them into place.
Jim, nice tip on your method of controlling flutter. I like the idea of leaving a slot open!
