hoping someone sees this and can help... a few months ago i planted an ESM BF110 with dual DLE 20's. I was cleaning up the other day and decided to consolidate parts from the two ruined engines to make one... I bought a new cylinder head (Tower Hobbies - $59 and muffler - $19). while reassembling the frankenstien motor I inadvertantly broke the piston ring about an 1/8 of an inch off one end while putting the piston into the new head.
Am i screwed? Will that 1/8 of an inch less piston ring ruin the compression? The bearings spin really well... Feels like there's good compression if I spin the motor with my finger over the spark plug hole... what do you think?
