Patrick/Matt, I live in Cincinnati and am going to NJ for Christmas. I will basically be driving past both of you so I might be able to help transport the plane.

I have a Nissan Frontier with a 6ft bed. With no gear or prop it might fit diagonally across the bed and I have a bed cover. Plane would need to be wrapped in plastic as a little water wicks in the corners, but nothing really gets 'wet' as the moisture ends up going into the channels in the bed liner.

I keep ratchet straps and a couple of bungees in the truck, hopefully Matt will have whatever else is needed to secure the plane...
