I have used the 1/24 MPC/AIRFIX plastic model for my basic dimensions. Then the aero detail #11 for visual reference. I measured the plastic model with a vernier caliper and multiplied by 4.5 This gave me my scale dimension for the 2.25"/ft. scale. after making my replica I came across the drwg. that I posted and my scale version was almost an exact match to the dimensions on the drwg. another place to look at would be

Not really detailed but gives a good idea of the proportions. also you might want to exlplore any ME109 stuff cause it used the same radio/tx &rec.
