Hi i would guess its a broad range of engine tuning from the handlers not the engines as i can detune my 3W85 down to that easy..
40 Pounds of static thrust is very good its what i get from my 3W85 with a Chinese 26X10 prop so good numbers when you think my 3W85,s i have two cost over $1000 each.
If the DLE 85 was around a few years ago i would have gone for that.
My 3W has a three bearing crankshaft and they are very good engines. I am not sure how many bearings are in the DLE85
The 3W at nearly twice the cost of the DLE you have to think a bit.
I run a DLE55 as well and its an excellent engine no problems.
Dave.
