I have a couple planes that are floaters and as such tend to be difficult to land if you don't have a lot of space to bleed off airspeed and altitude.
What I've done that is very effective is set up dual servo ailerons to reflex (go up) which makes the airfoil less efficient and bring the plane down faster but still at a slow speed. It also lowers the angle of attack and makes stalls much less likely.
The other plane has quad flaps and I set it up with butterfly. The flaps go down and the ailerons go up. That's like putting the brakes on while also lowering the angle of attack at the tips - again, significantly lessens the chance of a devastating stall.
Just some things you might want to keep in mind if you have difficulty bringing the plane down.
