thats a little on the low side....the 55 is supposed to be a power house... it should swing a 21x11 close to 7k rpm ... what did it swing prior to changing ignitions?...are you sure the carb/throttle is fully open?

just for comparison my cheap old DL50 swings a 23x8 xoar about 6900-7k on a good day
