Did you purchase just the ElectroDynamics lights ? I also use the ElectroDynamics light system on my Cessna.
If you also purchased the ElectroDynamics DR-117RC control unit, this unit will allow you to turn the landing lights on and off as flaps are raised and lowered. It works great on mine.
