I am all for quality equipment . What makes me ponder ,is why is this assembly-made from aluminum demonstrably better than the current injection molded setups

yes.
However , if you fly with light spring loads and setup your models for small stick input response - I would be very surprised if this can offer any improvement.
Having setup tracking tests on various tx over the years , I just don't see how there exists a problem which needs to be fixed by using metal gimbals
