Also double check your rpm reading on startup..if it does not look quite right then the trick for that is to take a magnet and bring it in close proximity to the rpm sensor....to "defrag" the sensor (not sure if this is the correct term btw...but it does work)
The early RAM ecu's designed by Andy Low did not have an rpm sensor. The engine was controlled by compression pressure. I designed the rpm sensor with the magnet in the front compressor bullet nut to control the engine using rpm rather than compression pressure. I also designed the auto start system.
