Found this thread awhile ago, have been enjoying it. Now I figure I'll add my HOG to the collection.
OS .91FS As you can see I did mount the LG up front (clearance for the prop was the reason) I mounted it with rubber bands (old school method) and it has gone a full season with nearly 100 landings with NO troubles! I do replace the bands when they get slack.
All Mono-kote covering. The windscreen is the GP Stearman ARF unit. The pilot is a dead ringer for the one holding the radio (me).


The checkerboard pattern is hand cut squares. The LG and wheels are "old style" which sort of goes with the age of the Astro Hog vintage. She fly's like a dream!
