Set the LSN (black one on end of throttle slide) so that it is 0.5mm proud of the housing...that should definitely be rich.....slide gap 1mm. If it is revving high when it starts then close the gap.
Also check the "mid-needle" (gold one on the opposite end of the throttle slide (it is actually not a needle but adjusts the position of the spray bar)), it should be completely flush, but I recommend removing the HSN housing and by looking through the hole you should be able to see the spray bar......and the spray bar has four holes.....one of them should be visible. (I have a picture but it is blurry...it might make more sense than my description though).
