Yes, many people.. this plane is very durable as it is simple, doesnīt have a enclosed engine installation or thrust tube, or parts prone to flutter away. You can keep up with any modern sport planes being flown today or even fly circles around them if your hotspot is really "hot" . The downside is that they donīt knife edge as well as the modern sport jobs. But even so, they are practical and super fun to fly. Good luck with yours.
