HP6DSM Mode 1 and Mode 2
I recently purchased a used SR and began testing the flight controls prior to launch. The collective is linked to the right stick and the elevator is on the left. I believe that some seasoned 3D pilots (not I) may control helis with different settings but I am not sure if this is correct. The previous owner had this SR bound to a computer radio and I'm now back to the stock HP6DSM Tx.The manual indicates two different flight modes but no apparent method to change them unless I missed it. Tx dip switches and the servo connections are in the correct positions according to the manual
All of the controls are as follows:
Left stick up/down=Throttle and elevator pitch (Swashplate tips forward and back)
Left stick left/right= Rudder control
Right stick up/down=Collective pitch (Swashplate moves up and down)
Right stick left/right=Roll (Swashplate moves left and right)
Can someone explain the different flight modes on the HP6DSM (M1 and M2) and how to change them (If applicable)? If that is not the case here, does anyone else have a solution?
Thanks
Mike
