Hey Bob,
Boy, do your models bring back some memories. My Dad and I flew CL in the '50s and attended most contests in Texas and Nats a couple of times when they held it in TX or another nearby state. I too was a combat nut and my plane of choice was a Ringmaster Jr. with a Fox .29. We would spend all winter building a dozen or so for the big events. What ever happend to the plane called the Half-fast (say it 3 times . I built a couple of those for combat and they were about the hottest thing going at the time. It was just a wing with an elevator, would turn on a dime. I went on a 50 year hiatus and started flying RC about 5 years ago. Thanks for your pictures of planes of the past.
