In your words, "it was pretty blubbery rich and quit before I got it into a semi smooth 2-stroke". That tells me you didn't have it peaked for one, and for two GloBee tach's are known for being inaccurate. It's not that I don't believe you, I don't trust your tach is telling you the whole truth. That's all. Nothing personal. For two, an OS is not a benchmark I would consider comparing against. Your Evolution should walk all over an FX. A semi smooth 2-stroke for my TT is around 13,500-14,000 on a 9x7 and Jettstream. Peaked on a 9x7 I last saw 16,700rpm on 10% homebrew. Your Evo should have a bit more power than my TT. It's not likely to pick up or lose 1000rpm or more by going up or down 1" of pitch.

You don't hang out with Airraptor do you?
