Ding! Ding! Ding! Right you are! Of course I am guessing, but that is the future (S.Bus and Telemetry)... They will push the new technology while they can still make a lot a money:-) This is good because if it is adopted widely, the prices of new technologies goes down because the competition will do the same (lower prices to bring more people to the new technology).
For those of us that do not need the new technology, Futaba receivers for less than $35 is always good news:-)
