Please excuse my slow response. I am not on RCu that much anymore ( and not missing it ) and right now I am in Florida attending a jet meeting. The Hawk that this thread is focused on is still alive, and about 3 weeks ago it went to a new owner in the UK. It flew for a season with the standard tail and I never had an issue. The factory sent me a new set of larger undercarriage and wheels, along with a new aluminium spar tail. Despite the old tail being fine, I fitted the new one ( at the factories request ) and made a session of flights that started off softly, and progressed up to some vigorous ( what I would class as none scale and vigorous demo style flying ) flights which included plenty of negative and positive G loading as well as over scale speed flying. No issues experienced. I now have the new larger hawk ready to ship so in order to clear space, the smaller Ferrari one was sold on. I hope this helps with your question?
