RE: Eagle 2 ARF & 4 Stroke Engine?
Bill,
I don't know if I ever would have tried ot think of a rhyme for Thomas. ha You sure nailed it. I'll try to be a good little pilot, well good tall 210 lb pilot.
The wx down here is getting like Autumn (for us anyway.) It's onto the mid to low 60s for the lows and in the 70s for the highs lately. Generally we get a snap like this then it gets like Summer, in the afternoons, again for a 30 to 40 days.
Deer hunting season starts in November down here and I can remember when I was a kid going Deer hunting, taking off the coat and shirts all the way down to just a t-shirt on top in the afternoon. Then by dark it was cold enough for the coat again. It's a good time of year to catch cold and/or get aggravated trying to dress right during the spell of brisk AMs and hot PMs.
Thanks for the tip on K&B. I'll look up the site and add it to favorites. I'm sure I heard one of my club members saying the plane he was flying had a K&B engine. If I remember right it sounded different somehow.
Did you ever try building a plane with Coroplast? I stumbled onto the SPAD web site. They have a lot of designs posted with detailed instructions for building, balancing etc.
From what I read there, a lot of balsa builders aren't especially enamoured with the concept of using plastic. I'll admit a lot of the planes are ugly,,,, with big bold capital letters. Like some people down here say, "They are closely related to those Lee Brothers, Home Lee and Ug Lee." ha
