The real FAI pipes have an adjustable outlet size. A smaller size makes it come on the pipe easier, but also overheats easier. Maybe you could look into those. I am not sure the Ucktam could live up to the 40,000 rpm that the pies are made for. Where are you planning on flying them? Centennial Park Etobicoke? The fuel shutoff saves the motors from overheating. Good feature to have.
