With all due respect to Veterans (I'm not one, thanks to a lucky draw in the Vietnam-era draft lottery,) why is it the responsibility of every business entity to show their appreciation by discounting everything under the sun?
The government got us all into whatever conflicts our vets served in. When our servicemen/women come back broken, it should be the government's continuing responsibility to make them whole. If that costs money, the government should spend it and levy taxes on everyone to cover the expense. If we all appreciate the sacrifices our veterans have made, we'll be happy to pay those taxes.
