On a flyer (my wife suggested it) we went across the street to Home Depot (they never had it before) and found a "new" product called Dawn Grill cleaner. Its in the same blue bottle with the white spray head, it's the same 12.8 oz size, it smells the same, the ingredients list is the same, and the use instructions are almost the same. I believe it to be the same stuff with a new name targeted for a different use. Home Depot even had a "new" sign on the shelf by the product. I bought a bottle and tested it on a not very nasty engine when I got home and got the same good results as with the old product. The engine I cleaned wasn't very bad so it wasn't a good test but it worked just like always. I haven't tried it on my BBQ grill yet either! If you buy the new product and give it a good test on a well baked on engine, give us some feed back on your results.
dawn power dissolves are head and shoulders above the rest, 10X better than ez off, with out fighting the noxious fumes or scrubbing, apply it, wait 15 minutes and wipe clean, the very best cleaner on the market, but it so scarce and hard to find, i cant bring myself to buy the next best thing, because all the scrubbing that comes with buying the 2nd best product
