no, not worth it. 4-tec is heavy and cannot handle, i own one and never play with it, FAST AS HELL but can't turn at all, useless. invest it in either a hpi nitro rs43 ss, nitro tc3, or w/e, just stay away from the 4-tec, other traxxas vehicles such as the t-maxx, e-maxx, rustler, are okay, but not the 4-tec.
