Hey, multiengine scale modelers...has anybody ever modeled the DC-2-1/2 of 1941?



This was a DC-3 being used to evacuate Chinese (wealthy Chinese, that is) from the path of the Japanese invasion. Its right wing was damaged in a bombing raid, and a DC-2 wing, five feet shorter, was grafted on.

The weird paint job was intended to identify it to enemy pilots as a civilian aircraft, for all the good that did.
