Well here she is ... The Memphis Belle is finally finished after over 4,400 hours (1400 by me and 3000 by Wes Miller). Longer than Boeing took to build the full scale. She begins her memorial U.S. tour this coming weekend in Toledo then it is back to Minnesota to get her ready for the first flight.
So looking forward to seeing it. Will it be in a booth? Will be my first time to Toledo, but my friend has been there several times including having his own booth there. Be prepared to be drilled by him, he owns the B-17E we are restoring.
