DHey caddy, I don't know a whole lot, but I also have a kv-1. I don't know what brand yours is, but I have a Taigen, and of all my Taigen tanks my kv is by far the weakest! It's very fast and no torque. That's the reason I asked for help. From what I got from others is that just changing the pinion is not enough. I just ordered new gears and motors for the kv. I don't know what your trying 2 get out of it, but if you have a question you want more answers to, just post your own thread. You'll get alot more responses,.
