I just got around to breaking in the NGH GT17. I have it mounted to my Seagull Cap 232 using a 2000mah life4 battery for the ignition. I have 1 gallon of 93 octane fuel with 25 to 1 Stilh synthic oil. I have a Evolution 14x6 prop. I choked the engine and it started up easy with my electric starter. I did 3 -10 min runs and the engine got better after each run. After the 3rd run I had a good 1900 rpm idle and I hit 8900rpm at full throttle for just a few seconds. I hope to do the maiden flight this coming Saturday and I will change the prop out to a APC 15x6 if I can find one at my LHS.
