The plug is the correct one if it is a Type F, the oil is coming from a to rich condition that will also cause the engine to die when the heat from the plug is removed. As to weather this is an adjustment or a fuel issue is yet to be determined. Is your fuel fresh? Close the HPN and count the turns, also if this is a new engine the bottom end will be way rich from factory.
