Nice looking Epic Jens.
Just to make it clear. Although this Epic is exactly the same scale as all of the Epic Victory's that have been seen before. It comes from an all new kit made by Air C Race. They have made a bunch of improvements to the old kit. Here is a list of what Michael Sieck ( Owner of ACR ) sent me.. See below.
I am seriously contemplating getting another one of these models. I have to admit, the biggest negative on the old one was the one piece wing. It made shipping and transport a nightmare! I also like the idea that its allot more prefab and I am hoping to be able to have it built so it does not need an overall paint job. The Eclipse 400 from the same stable that I am flying right now is a gem, so if the Victory turns out like that.. I will be happy !
Oh and the fact that this latest Epic is so much lighter ( 2.5 Kg I am being told ) is a real bonus as well. Not to mention that there is now a hinged front access panel… Its getting hard to say no! LOL

  • Surface all white inmold paint.. very glossy, almost no seam line visible.
  • Siderudder, Aileron and Elevator now center hinged and Scale details screws and latches
  • Wing now 2 pcs with 35x2 mm tube... very good for transport... and shipping
  • for the reason wing is in center now fuselage, Tank is exact in CG and very far down...
  • All Wood is build in... Doors hinged Flaps hinged... and so on...
