The Corsair in My Models is Rustoleum over Solartex. The primer coat sanded to a metal like surface. If I could find the original photos I would post them here.
BTW, back when I did mine there was a big question about Rustoleum Primer being fuelproof so I used Lusterkote Primer, Inexpensive, sandable and fuelproof.
