Default RE: Did HVLP take over completely?

spare parts for the plumbing installation have been unavailable for God knows how long.
I am surprised Home Depot hasn't expanded to your part of the world yet! An opportunity for excellence.

As for HVLP or not.... 1) there are plenty of inexpensive gravity feed HVLP guns of all sizes that will run off your compressor... just check the required air needs first for each gun. 2) painting skill is no different than for a standard gun. I find it actually much easier to use HVLP because you can really see the pattern and where it is going. 3) It will pay for itself by using less... much less... paint. Especially if you are using automotive paint, your old stash of K&B, Stits or other expensive paints. 4) Ahhh the mess.... I can almost paint HVLP in my good cloths (almost... because I might spill it on myself filling the cup!)

Anyway... those are my thoughts IMHO.
