You are right Condor. You should use the old style paints guns. And I have a Devilbiss bottom feed detail gun that has only been used to paint one airplane. Back in 1992 I bought this gun new. In 1993 I painted my Byron T6 with it. I put in away clean and have never used it since. I have been using that new technology HVLP since 1993. I kind of like it, but as you seem to think, it's not for everybody. In all seriousness, I will gladly sell you the spray gun. I doubt I will ever use it again. $100 takes it.
