Hey Nick, congrats on the 2nd flight. You and I have been on a couple of builds together. Didn't you build the Hanger 9 Ferocious Frankie with me years ago? Anyway, I pulled the trigger on one of these F4U's from my local Hobby store. He's saying late June. I'm not going to have the luxury of a fancy radial engine. But I am considering my old tried and true ZDZ 80. Should do the job. I'm also staying with Robart pneumatic retracts. I have used the electric from Robart and I'm using them right now on a Top Flite FW 190, and they work great. The only place I've ever seen guys having problems with the electric is on the Corsairs for some odd reason. Anyway, you guys are all awesome, I've pretty much read the whole thread........Lot's of good info here.
