I have been using HVLP for about 5 years and also have the turbine unit from Jerry Nelson. It also works great. Much less noise and less overspray. Either the gravity feed or the pressure pot units will give great result with little or no learning curve. Plug it in, mix up some paint and start shooting onto white cardboard to feel out the gun. Mine has an on/off air supply valve, nozzle sellect, air flow and paint flow controls. Once you find the coverage you want head for the model!
