I have just comleted the bungee mod, instead of the orings. I threaded small screws through the small welded nuts and then tied one end of small bungee cable (bought at walmart) and then did about 12-14 some what tensioned wraps on each side. So close to 24-28 wraps per leg total. I also fabricated shock covers like the PA 18 as this plane is being converted to the PA18 from the J3. The springs that were on it seemed super tight, i would rather have a more forgiving landing gear.
