Hall, we in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area all use reformulated gas in our vehicles. It contains MTBE which is bad for all of the things that you listed.

I realize that you are sticking with Valvoline and I think that is a good move. However, when you started this post you seemed to be looking for an answer to your problem. Obviously there is no one here that has more than a guess. That is why I wanted you to directly contact the source (Klotz) to find an answer even if you never use their product again. This would help all of us who are interested in the problem. I could contact Klotz but they might have questions that I couldn't answer because I have no first hand knowledge.
