I can remember back in the 50's having some rubber powered kits I built supplying a balsa prop "blank" to be finished out by the builder, but not any glow powered kits doing that. But heck, why not! Its just wood.

I am sure one would have to be quite skilled, paying attention to making both blades the same and balancing it when done. Its going to turn a lot more RPM than a rubber power prop and the danger is much greater. For the price of today's wood props, ( cheap @ $3.00-$5.00) you would be foolish to want to finish out and run that prop. I know you don't intend to use it, but you could make a display prop out of it.
