So I used a soldering gun to melt the epoxy and pulled off the old channel, and made some new "C" rails with a Dremel router table I bought years ago, thinking that it would be cheaper to buy the router table than to buy slotted rails commercially. I'm getting there, just putting some finishing touches on the frame before I glue the windscreen in and paint the frame.
This I what I need to do for my Yellow Spitfire as my canopy rails are 'open' type slot rails that can not hold the canopy in place. Good work Daddy Sam.
