Hi Sandy yes you are correct i am getting my plus and minus mixed up.
The original configuration of the aircraft was the front of the wing was up by + 2 degrees as the plan but there was a mistake in the firewall that was pointing the engine down by - 4 degrees. The plan states zero degrees.
As i understand it the wing or any wing will always try and fly at zero degrees or what the wing perceives itself as zero degrees, that will push the nose down or try and push the nose down by the two degrees so the two combined make six degrees or have i got the wrong end of the stick
Does that make sense or have i the wrong end of the stick.
I guess the Vailly plan has the +2 degrees on the wing to get 2 degrees of down thrust on the engine.
