Sky, Saitos typically use about 1 oz of fuel per minute per cubic inch displacement at full throttle. The larger ones do a little better than that.
When I converted my FA-200Ti to CDI, I had some very interesting results.
Although I didn't gain the usual 150-300 RPM over the GI (Glow Ignition) output, the fuel economy improved by 70%!
With GI the 12oz tank of 15% Cool Power was drained in just over 7 minutes @ WOT. That equates to 1.7oz per minute. About par for the course & very close the the 1oz per cu in rule of thumb. W/CDI, it took over 12 minutes to drain the same tank @ WOT.
That's 1/2oz per cu in per minute. Quite an improvement!
