My Cortex is placed below the cockpit seats - this is where my powerbox and the receiver sits as well. It doesnt really matter where you put the Gyro, just pay attention to the right orientation.

Hi Tuggs, and Gonzalo,
I have another Cortex mounted in an Osiris with a lot of flights.
It is mounted level with the airplane also in the proper orientation.
I was under the impression that it had to be mounted level with the airplane.
The tray in the cabin in my Tutor is not near the level of the motor mounts which by the way are not level with each other.
Maybe I am wrong in thinking that the cortex has to be mounted level with the flying attitude of the airplane.
I will call Danny at Espirit who is the US distributor and post what he has to say.
