Just apply common sense when you mount it
Btw, you shouldn't mount it next to the turbine. The bottom of the fuselage just below the cockpit is fine, assuming that your receiver is located there as well, I mean you're limited to the cable length anyways ,right?

I just got off the phone with Danny at Espirit.
He said it is not critical but it should be mounted as level as possible to the flying attitude of the airplane.
I was not going to mount it back in the engine compartment I was just using the engine mounts as a level place in the airplane to compare to the level attitude of the board in the cabin.
I guess it is not as critical as I thought it might be.
