Great Thread #1!
Here is my second attempt to encourage some excitement about an "RAF F6f" and other culturally relevant joys.
The F6f has been accused of just being too ordinary looking. Well, here is a version of this fabulous warplane that is surely anything but "ordinary" (?) looking. Given its great service and champion "Ace maker" record in the defense of Western Civilization values as well as Britain's critical roll in world history's most decisive war, surely it would be a great choice for a RTF model. I would surely buy at least an operational and standby model of this truly great fighter plane!
Here is the copy of my F6f performance report and plea for a marketed Park Flyer version on the Park Flyer thread. This Park Flyer thread also provides a lot of evidence of "hacker attacks" and picture tampering.
Given British heroism in helping save Western Civilization it would really be great if a big Park Flyer RTF version of an RAF F6f were to be marketed.
Today's Combat Air Patrol (CAP) demonstrated that restricting air flow
slightly into the cowl and opening up the exit area a little seemed to have solved the earlier mention cowl problem. I got a little careless on landing and almost set the ship down in a small area covered with some nasty gravel. No problem, I missed the rocks by a few inches this time. Ugly things happened to my P-51 GUNFIGHTER (now affectionately called my "War weary GUNFIGHTER") back when I almost missed the area once. I will be adding more rudder deflection before the next mission in order to help with knife edge flight that wasn't very impressive today.
Gotta get back in the war.
