Don, here are few ideas based on what you mentioned. I would check the CG and the engine thrust, then adjust it as need. Then I would adjust the elevator linkage to build in a little down elevator. Remember if you have a nyrod push rods like golden Rod, etc. they expand and contract considerably with temperature changes. My last suggestion would depend on what radio you have you may want to setup and exponent or adjust servo travel depending on it's capabilities.
