Finally got the chance to maiden the 1/5 WACO today. Takes off and flies like a dream and landings are pretty much a non-event until the wind picked up a bit. Then it wants to float forever. Friend shot a vid with my camera, but have not had a chance to look it over to see if it's worth uploading.
Only tweaking was to increase elevator expo and second flight was much more enjoyable. That elevator sensitivity is likely due to the missing cowl. Once I have a bit more time on the engine and can lean it out will install it for good.
One other thing is I left the pilot out for these flights. Plane flies so gentle don't think the velcro holding him in will be a problem.
