Gentlemen, we are getting close to our first annual Giant Scale event this coming weekend June 7 & 8, 2014.

Other then the standard AMA rules we will be following a 60" bi-plane and 80" mono plane rule.


All Aircraft are welcome, Turbine jets will meet the 140 inch, wing tip to wing tip, plus nose to tail measurement.


We are located between Scranton and Wilkes Barre Pa.


Our club is located on Swetland Lane just off of rt 11 which is near the Midway Shopping Center in Wyoming PA.


Friday schedule. We will be onsite from 1 pm for those of you bringing campers and would like to set up.


Campers are welcome but NO hook ups. After we have the field ready, we will allow Friday afternoon flying.


Saturday schedule. Registration will start at 8 am.Pilots meeting at 8:45 and flying at 9 am.


Sunday Schedule. Pilots meeting at 9:30 and flying starts at 10 am, later start on Sunday with churches behind us.


Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Electric Giant scale can start at 9:30 am.


Hotels. There many to choose from. Even a new casino hotel about 15 minutes away.


Plenty of room for your EZ-up tents in the pit area. Bring your lawn chairs.


Vendors. There will not be any vendors on site, but we do have a local hobby shop 10 minutes away with hours on Friday 9-6 and Saturday 9-5. located on Coal Street in Wilkes Barre, Walters Do It Center. 570-823-1406


Just follow the signs on Swetland Lane for club entrance.

ALSO... weather is looking great 80's and no rain....

BIG PLUS, but there is an airport acrss the road from us, they offer plane rides at a very good price, rides in ...T-28, SNJ... Extra 300, cessna 172's and many more........
