Starter box's are awesome, u place the car on the box and locate it on the taps. It's spring loaded with a pressure switch so it only starts cranking the motor when u push down on the buggy... Only down side it does require more maintenance than a pull starter

Generally u buy a specific starter box or one that is comparable with ur chassis.
so what that means is, u need to be able to set the locating tabs to fit ur buggy so it's secure when starting.

one good thing about running a bump start engine, as they call it. Is they don't have a cam for a pull start so they have a lighter rotating mass and makes it a more responsive engine.
