Are you looking for full on 3D work, or an all out sport plane?

If you're thinking full on 3D, it's pretty much that Chinese ARF or build it yourself. 'brotherhood may be of some guidance there.

Great Planes has a pretty sturdy (foam core wings and stab) 70" Revolver that makes an awesome 20cc sport plane! Check out the "Larger Revolver" string here in the ARF section. Quite a following, many of the guys are on their second and 3rd planes.

The Chinese full bodied planes you might fly on 20cc's build up and fly great, nice and light, but if you so much as drag a wingtip they're toast, and no parts are available as a rule. Doesn't make a lot of difference what you pay for them in my experience.
