Your assessment seems right. ES makes the 35G for the 30c-40cc class engines. It's pricy but worth the money in weight savings alone (about 3 1/2 ounces). The inlet to the baffle distance is about 17" so judge accordingly.

Nevertheless, the muffler performance wasn't too bad. Seems to be on par with the regular muffler OS provides. The pipe gives you both rpm and torque boost BTW.

Actually it would be an interesting comparison after you use the pipe. I have never used the muffler so I'm missing that piece of info. Please keep me posted
