Nick, thanks. So far:
engine mounts reinforced,
gear move forward and mounts rebuilt and reinforced,
elevator rod stiffened but no duel elevator servos,
Tail wheel seems ok,
Already has William Bros wheels.
E-mailed Dave Platt re the spinner, but no response so far.
I still have to do the flaps, and install all the servos. I'll probably have every thing done. The spinner is the only thing I don't have.
The plane has flow before with a DLE 20 and did ok. Not a speed demon but flew ok and did all the maneuvers, large loops, reverses etc.
I have a Bowman ring I can install in the DLE 20. But this is a good running engine with good compression. I don't see the ring making a big difference.
The DLE came out of a 63" wingspan VQ Hurricane. It was WAY overpowered with almost unlimited vertical. But that is not what I am looking for here.
